History

Speech Dock saves your past transcripts so you can come back to them. All history is stored locally on your device.

What's stored

• the transcript text;
• the date and time;
• the formatting option, if you chose one.

What you can do

• Find the entry you need by its text.
• Copy the transcript back to the clipboard.
• Export an entry to a file — plain text, Markdown, or PDF.
• Delete an entry when you no longer need it.

Where the data lives

History stays only on your computer and is never sent anywhere. When you delete an entry, it's removed from the device too. For more on why everything runs locally, see How it works.
